If not - is there explanation available (where) how they can be rooted?

I am waiting for my H400 to be returned back from the dealers after repaired.

You can google every where to see other brand how it work n what software needed to be root.
For applying FULL control for android phone i think is all the same but if u are saying you to try with other customize ROM that would be risking in case you need to backup your factory ROM or you don't care if it is BRICK.
